Gianni de Gennaro, an international skateboarding icon, has joined the official Vision Street Wear Team.

De Gennaro has been featured multiple times in Thrasher and is known for being a creative force in the sport. He has two inventions that have gained international attention: the skate guitar, a guitar made from a skateboard deck that has been played by bands like Pearl Jam, and the skate palito, a board made from a simple piece of wood, designed to encourage everyone to skate.

His influence in the sport is so significant that this year he received a lifetime achievement award at the Skateboarding Hall of Fame, which annually honors the best skaters in various categories.
